Shocker Toys are planning to release the ultimate items for any metal nerd's collection this summer at Comic Con: a full set of Dethklok action figures! Dethklok are, of course, the famous animated death-metal band from Adult Swim's "Metalocalypse" cartoon. The toys (they're not toys dammit!) will be fully painted when they are released.

Tampa, Florida death-metal icons Morbid Angel are returning with a vengeance to reclaim their throne atop the death-metal heap. Having been without a steady rhythm guitarist for quite some time - for all purposes since Erik Rutan's departure from the band to form Hate Eternal in 2002 - the band has hired longtime Zyklon axeman Destructhor to fill the void. Seriously, the guy's real first name is Thor. He was destined to be in a metal band from birth.

Swedish melodic-death-metal pioneers At The Gates are back together and touring Japan with The Dillinger Escape Plan, Mayhem, Pig Destroyer and Into Eternity. The first live footage of the incredibly influential band in over a decade was captured at Studio Coast in Tokyo on May 11. Check out footage of all the bands on the tour below - the At The Gates footage begins slightly after the 6:40 mark.
