The Metal Hammer Golden Gods Awards are in the books and the complete list of winners can be found right here. I think it's safe to say that the awards were an all-around farce, with some pointless awards (Spirit of Hammer?), suspect winners (Apocalyptica?), and all-around Roadrunner ass-kissing, but at least Kerry King was honored for his immeasurable contributions to the genre.
