DISTURBED, OPETH ALBUMS LAND IN BILLBOARD TOP 10
Two metal albums made very impressive debuts in the Billboard 200 this week. Opeth's astonishingly brilliant Watershed
sold 19,000 copies to land at #23, by far the band's best chart
position in the U.S. to date. That number pales in comparison to the
performance Disturbed's Indestructible,
however, which moved a whopping 253,000 units to jump all the way to
#1. Of course, Disturbed are no strangers to the coveted #1 spot, as
both of their previous albums - 2005's Ten Thousand Fists and 2002's Believe - debuted at #1 as well. Congratulations are due to both of them!
