AVENGED SEVENFOLD TO RECORD IRON MAIDEN AND BLACK SABBATH COVERS
Our cohorts over at Buzznet just unearthed some big, exclusive news from Avenged Sevenfold.
In an interview conducted with guitarist Zacky Vengeance, it was
revealed that the band will be entering the studio within the next few
days to record covers of unnamed songs by Iron Maiden and Black Sabbath.
A7X's recent cover of Pantera's "Walk" received a great response from fans, we'll see if the new covers do the same. Some may consider this blasphemy of the highest order, but you have to admit that A7X at least show a lot of respect for those that came before them.

I guess I'm part of that "some"....I don't mean any offense to any die hard Avenged Sevenfold fans, but these guys are just really insulting to Metal by ruining such a good song. Soon Iron Maiden.....then Black Sabbath?! These guys should really stick to playing their own music.

I'm no big fan for these guys, but is this for real?!

awsome. i hope that they can cover the songs well coz they r hard 2 do
dont get me wrong, i love a7x.... but i think they should stay away from the covers. pantera will always own "walk". props for trying though
