REUNITED EXHORDER TO RECORD NEW MATERIAL
They who influenced Pantera have returned. New Orleans riff-meisters Exhorder are back together and writing new material. Kyle Thomas (vocals), Vinnie LaBella (guitar), Jay Ceravolo (guitar) and Chris Nail
(drums) pioneered a sound in the late '80s/early '90s that many called
post-thrash or groove metal. Many claim that fellow New Orleans native Philip Anselmo
stole their influential sound and parleyed it into a successful career
with Pantera.
Exhorder's 1990 album, Slaughter of the Vatican, is a cult classic thanks to its ridiculous speed, intensity and assault on all things holy.
