DIVINE HERESY HIRE NEW SINGER - VIDEO FOOTAGE AVAILABLE
Following the unpleasant - to say the least - firing of vocalist Tommy Cummings from Divine Heresy, speculation ran rampant as to who the band would find to replace the talented singer. Wasting little time, the band has enlisted the services of (former?) Periphery vocalist Jake Veredika, according to Blabbermouth.net. Check out this video footage of the band performing with Veredika in Philadelphia, then come in and hear all the details:
Replacing Cummings' stunning and wide-ranging vocals will not be an easy task for Veredika. The band was pressured to find a new singer as fast as possible with a supporting slot lined up for a tour with Arch Enemy and Dark Tranquillity breathing down their necks - not the type of tour a band would want to bail on. The band may have had to be hasty in its decision. Divine Heresy founder/guitarist Dino Cazares has claimed that Veredika's hiring is to be considered temporary at this point, which seems to imply that the current tour will be an audition of sorts for the singer. Here is some more live footage of the band performing with Veredika:
You make the call - is Veredika up to standard?
